WHY IT'S USED: Japanese Honeysuckle Flower is an herb used primarily for clearing heat and eliminating toxins in Traditional Chinese Medicine. It has antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, smooth muscle spasm, purifying, diuretic, reduces fever properties. It is used to dispel heat, remove toxins, expels pathogenic Wind-Heat and Damp-Heat in the Lower Jiao in chinese traditional medicine.

It is widely used an essential herb combined with other herbs in the treatment of a wide range of infections, including common cold with fever, sore throat and headache, any type of hot sores, or swellings, especially in the breast, eyes, and throat, skin blemishes and rashes, and diarrhea, dysentery, intestinal abscesses, or painful urination.

Moreover, Japanese honeysuckle flower is edible. The nutrients of it are highly in Calcium, Magnesium, and Potassium Also It contains elaidic-acid, inositol, linoleic-acid, lonicerin, luteolin, myristic-acid, tannin, and zink.
