Gao Ben/ Lovage Root
is pungent, warm, and nontoxic. It acts on the bladder channels.
WHY IT'S USED: It is a drug with a strong force. It expels pathogenic wind, damp, and cold to stop pain.
It is used to treat migraine and headache due to invasion of wind and cold.
Also it treats Joint pain, arthritic pain, and abdominal pain due to pathogenic wind, cold and damp.
COMMENTS AND CAUTIONS: caution in patient's with Yin or blood Deficiency
Dosage: 3-9g per day indecotion
