Chinese Name: He Shou Wu
Comman Name: Polygonum, Fleeceflower Root
Latin Name:Polygonum Multiflorum Thunb
It is warm, sweet, nontoxic and acts on liver and kidney channels.
WHY IT'S USED: It is a calm nutrition that nourishes blood and tonifies liver and kidney.
It blackens the beard and hair, enhances male sexuality, consolidates tendon and bone and prolongs the lifespan.
It helps with constipation.
Also it is good for treating scrofula, carbuncle, swelling, dizzness and insomnia. It
stops heart pain.
COMMENTS AND CAUTIONS:
Caution with loose bowels, dampness, and phlegm.
Incompatible with onions, garlic, white dakon, scaleless fish, iron compounds and any sort of blood product
such as pig blood, chicken blood.
There are some reports that He Shou Wu ( Polygonum )
causes hepatitis and allergic reaction. It is very rare. In case the side effects cause damage, do not used it by itself and
do not overdose.
Dosage: 9 to15 grams per day
